Ads claim that dairy products are a great source of calcium which is really important for our bones. But calcium contained in milk doesn’t prevent us from getting fractures.
Scientists from Harvard University have found that people from countries that don’t usually consume dairy products suffer from fractures less than those who consume such products regularly. So there’s no sense in drinking big amounts of milk if you want to strengthen your bones. You can get calcium from sardines and salmon, beans, almonds, and figs.
